Art for Freedom is a global digital initiative created to help artists to express themselves against any kind of oppression. Madonna started off by posting “Secretprojectrevolution” on September 24, 2013, a 17-minute video created by her, where she and her dancers have a routine with a hidden message. As part of this platform Madonna also launched a grants program. During the next year applications will be sent to artforfreedom.com by anyone who wants to show what freedom means to them, trough any kind of art form. Madonna will select the winning submission each month and $10,000 will go to a nonprofit organization or project chosen by the winner.
